Lagos govt bans 2yrs rent in Lagos.

The Lagos state government passed a tenancy bill on Friday,5th of August.
The bill which basically forbids the collection of a 2yr rent from prospective tenants and also disallows Lagos Landlords from collecting 1yr rent from sitting tenants also states that any Landlord guilty of such offense would face a 100,000 naira fine and a 3yr jail term.All sitting tenants are to pay 6months rent in advance.
